Karthika Menon (born 6 June 1986), better known by her stage name Bhavana (Malayalam: ഭാവന), is an Indian film actress who appears in Malayalam, Tamil, Telugu Kannada films. She made her acting debut in Kamal's Nammal which won her critical acclaim and various honours. She is the winner of two Kerala State Film Awards.

Family
Born as Karthika Menon in a Kerala family, Bhavana is the daughter of Pushpa and assistant cinematographer G. Balachandran Menon. She has one brother named Jayaddev who is currently living in Vancouver, Canada.[

She debuted in Malayalam film Nammal opposite newcomers like Siddharth, Jishnu and Renuka Menon. The film was a big success and she got several offers in Malayalam. She won many honours and Kerala State Special Jury Award for the same film. Karthi has confirmed that he is doing a dual role for the first time in his career in ‘Siruthai’, his forthcoming film. “It is an emotional movie which will be packed commercially”, he says.

On his double role, he says, “Both characters are strikingly different from each other and give me ample scope for performance. As an actor, I am really happy to take up the challenge in Siruthai.”
