SINGAM HQ STILLS

Singam (English: Lion) is a forthcoming 2010 Indian Tamil action film directed by Hari. It stars Surya as a cop and Anushka Shetty in the lead roles.[1] The film is expected to be released in April 14, 2010.[2][3]

Production
This film is the second police-based film for both Hari and Surya, the former having earlier directed Saamy, while the latter has essayed the role of a cop in Kaakha Kaakha earlier. Devi Sri Prasad was signed as the music director, while VT Vijayan and Priyan were confirmed as the editor and the cameraman, respectively. The film will be distributed by Sun Pictures.

The film started rolling in Kutralam in the last week of August. The first schedule was completed in Tirunelveli, Ambasamudram, Kutralam, Karaikudi and Thuthukudi while the second schedule was shot in Chennai, Hyderabad and Vizag. A song shot was taken in Dubai in the Creek Park. This film was later filmed in and around Tirunelveli and Tuticorin districts. A fight scene was shot near the AVM Hospital in Tuticorin and also a song was shot in the fishing harbour in Tuticorin and many others scenes were in Tirunelveli district.
